Mon Tour du Mont Blanc

Conditions June 24th 2019

24 June 2019

The typical summer weather of these days, helps the rapid disappearance of snowfields on the TMB. On the other hand, the melting of the snow causes the swelling of the streams and watercourses, to cross which every precaution is necessary.

Specifically, we point out that the variant of the Col du Tricot is now free of snow, that the tracks at the Col de La Seigne are well marked and that the bridges on the paths of the Courmayeur valleys have been placed. With regard to this sector, we recall that the trail of the Arp Vieille (Val Veny - Courmayeur), between the Combal and the Checrouit Lake is very snowy and that, although it is well traced, it is necessary to proceed very carefully given the steepness of the slope.
